My quick opinion: This shoe amazes me every-time I pull it for a customer. This shoe is an incredible shoe for speed days, while still maintaining a high level of cushion. Im a huge fan of this shoe for its qualities of high cushion, lightweight and great cost for what you are getting.

- The brooks launch is a similar light weight neutral option. The Brooks will not have nearly as much cushioning
- Hoka Clifton 7 (~$130)
- The Hoka clifton is the step up in cushion and support from the Hoka Rincon. What you get in increased durability and cushion with the Clifton you lose with increased weight
- On Cloud Flow (~$150)
- This is a very similar shoe in terms of weight and fit. However it will be a much more responsive shoe with less cushioning.
Who would I recommend the Hoka Rincon For?
I would recommend this for your casual 5K runner. If you are only running a couple times a week for a couple miles. These may be perfect for you! These will offer a light weight, comfortable ride. If you are not putting excessive miles on them, their durability concerns becomes much less important.
